I am an artist based in Cheshire.  My work investigates the relationship between people and places. Primarily working on canvas and board, I experiment with a range of media such as oil paint, pastel and pencil in a bid to convey a specific atmosphere and mood.

 

After working for 15 years as an English teacher, I returned to university to realise my long-held ambition to study art. In 2023 I took part in Sky Arts’ Landscape Artist of the Year. I currently split my time between teaching art and continuing to create my own body of work.
